The Shutterbug Foundation was intentionally incorporated on June 16, 2009 in honor of our brother Michael’s birthdate (June 16, 1964). Since its inception, the Foundation has provided 12 scholarships for worthy photojournalist students at Kent State University, as well as funded brain tumor research at the Cleveland Clinic and the American Brain Tumor Association.
